Last week I installed Thunderbird 68.1 on a new W10 machine, and successfully transferred all accounts and archives using MozBackup. However, it is not always picking up new emails (from IMAP accounts) properly, and sometimes misreports time of pickup. Eg An email sent to me at 16:15 yesterday (confirmed in the message source headers) is reported as arriving at 13:01. In fact, it didn't appear in my inbox until late afternoon. Also, when is a GB version going to be released?

Hi Matt, thank you for this. It looks as if there was a Gmail glitch yesterday which was sending emails at random times. It still doesn't explain why the message source and the TB time don't agree, but I'll wait and see what happens today.

I'll raise the GB version issue in another message so others can find it if necessary.

The message source is in UTC time with an offset. Being in the UK that might not be as noticeable as it is to the rest of the world, The time is actually set by the sender be that a web page or a mail client. So it should not be a gmail issue, unless they were having intermittent reception issues.
