my thunderbird email was set up in a way that if i would delete an email on thunderbird it would also delete it from my mail app on my iphone. which is fine but on the other hand when i would delete the email on my phone, it would stay in thunderbird on my pc (which is the way i want it to be). Now for some reason something changed and when i delete an email from my phone it also deletes it from TB on my pc. how do i go back to how it was ? thanks

I encourage you to check your phone and your PC and report what the settings are for each. Although it is possible that Thunderbird may lose a setting on an update, changing from IMAP to POP or the other way around is impossible to happen without explicit setups. Knowing the details may also help in advising on the lost emails.

thnx for the reply, it actually was after an update that this happened. i definitely didnt touch any settings cuz i wouldnt know how anyways ! so both my pc and iphone are set as IMAP.
