That was in the "Manage Data" dialog that lists the cookie count and storage size for a site?

Is there any similar site name in History? You can use the little search box at the upper right of the Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+H).

I just had a "Doh!" moment when I looked at the other thread because I had researched this a year ago and of course completely forgot by now.

Cookies are only returned to the same site, so if you never visit that "site" again, it is not doing anything. But it certainly would be nice if it were possible to delete it. If the Manage Data dialog doesn't allow that, and you do not want to flush all cookies, then maybe there is a cookie cleaning add-on that can do it.

ah ok as long as it's nothing dangerous or hinting at anything worse, that's is reassuring thank you for replying!
