Could not Copy and Paste a Bookmark

I could not Copy and Paste a Bookmark until after closing and restarting Firefox 122.0.1. I have had a similar problem before and wanted to report this.

I included a screen shot after closing and restarting Firefox and I was able to perform the copy and paste the Bookmark. I was trying to copy the Bookmark titled FDA approves Xolair to treat . . . to the Allergies folder but could not, again until after closing and restarting Firefox.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
