All of the sudden today I can't send email from Thunderbird. Incoming email fine. However whenever I try to send I get a server timeout error. This has been working fine for years up until today. This is the message; Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtphm.sympatico.ca timed out. Try again.

I recommend to contact with your email provider to check and verify connection settings.

I have done that. No settings have changed. Their support is useless unless you are using their webmail.

Some email providers can block access for email client. Does your provider that?
