trying to instal adobe flash player & firefox says theres missing plugins but when I try to install them it says no suitable plugins found so I can't install AFP
I've been having problems with my internet timing out when I try to access pages & firefox says I may have an old version of adobe flash player which is unstable so I've been trying to install a new version. Firefox then says theres missing plugins but when I click on the install missing plugins button it says no suitable plugins were found so I don't know how to get it to install AFP
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== everytime I try to install Adobe Flash Player

I have the exact same problem
Exact same problem for me too. I should have ignored the update Firefox message. :(
got the same problem here too and it is really sux
Ever since I updated to 3.6 my internet gets super slow and unresponsive after about 15 minutes. I can't install the AFP because of the missing plugin and I think this might be why I'm having this problem. Need the plugin or I have to go back to the old version- HELP!
What can I do to resolve this?
I'm trying to watch a news program from this Wyoming television station - http://www.kcwy13.com/newscast.php?id=3169
Firefox tells me there is no suitable plugin.
why is this not fixed yet? it's been broken like this for at least a month.
please fix it.
I have the same issue. I cant watch videos on certain sites because Adobe flash is required- and instead of the "Allow" button there's an option saying "Install missing plugins" and these missing plugins cannot be found!!!
Why hasnt this problem been solved??? Clearly there are enough people struggling with it!
Exact same problem... SUPPORT please?
with everyone having the same problem, it's time for a fix.????????
Try this simple fix... I just got it to work...
First visit http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html download and run the flash player uninstaller.
After that I simply ran the standalone flash player installer to be found here... http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
This fix doesn't solve the auto-update issue in Firefox, but at least your Flash will hopefully work again in Firefox until a more permanent fix is made available from Mozilla...
Martin, tried your fix but unfortunately didn't work for me and I'm using 3.6.8
Damned annoying having to use IE in it's place for cetain websites, no!?
Thank you, this worked for me!
