i've tried disabling all Plugins & Extensions, but problem persists. Preferences are: When FF starts show a blank page & the Home Page is blank.

Running FF 3.6.8, Mozilla FF for Ubuntu canonical 1.0

OS is Ubuntu Linux 10.14
