My firefox opens to add pages and NOT to my home page as I have set it.

I open up firefox and instead of opening to my homepage it is opening up two tabs one of them is to www.files.com and the other is to a no longer existing mozilla support page. I have tried many many many different solutions from modifying the about:config, to changing my profile. I have completely deleted firefox and all application data and it still does this. I'm at a complete loss and it is very frustrating to not open to the correct page.

That won't change my problem. My homepage is SET and if I hit the home button it responds correctly. The issue is when it opens it doesn't START there. It instead opens up two almost spamware style tabs. I've looked and looked and looked to try and remove them.

Did you check for problems with the file prefs.js and user.js as explained in the last link?

If those pages belong to extensions then there can also be a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar to do a compatibility check.
