I have a blue tag in-between bookmarks. What does this mean?

There is a blue tag that looks like the stick you blow bubbles with, or a push pin that marks a spot. This was after opening a site that usually requests information from my computer, and now it won't go away. What does this push pin mark mean?

Additionally- it's not the "pin" for bookmarks that looks like a thumb tack. I wish there was a way to attach a screen cap here- It sits in between full size tabs, does not change position and looks like a mark on a timeline above the address line.

You can add a screenshot to replies that you post.
Only the first post that starts a thread doesn't have that feature enabled.

So please attach a screenshot.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
