When I open Firefox I want the font size to open bigger and stay that way.

Try one of these Add-ons:

Default FullZoom Level (the one I use): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- Set options in Add-ons > Default FullZoom Level > Options
NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nosquint/
