Firefox disables audio or crashes when soundcard gets unplugged

HI! I'm a firefox user who uses a USB soundcard for audio. When I unplug my USB soundcard, every or most programs switch to the other audio device almost instantly or just by restarting audio.

But when I unplug my USB soundcard either by mistake or because I want to use my laptop speakers, I must restart the WHOLE browser for audio to start working again, or worse yet the browser hangs or crashes.

This doesn't only happen with the one PC I mainly use, this problem has existed with firefox on every PC I've used.

Is there and solution or fix to this problem?

I think you can't switch into another audio device in firefox, when you remove-unplug USB sound card you have pulled out the sound card that firefox was using. Windows may switch to your on board sound but Firefox will need restarting to change the audio device.

I don't known if this program is helpful for this (and it is not a freeware !) :
