Firefox doesn't prompt to remember or remember passwords for certain sites

Seems that certain sites, mostly financial ones, aren't saving the password and aren't prompting me if i want to remember it or not. One of the sites lets me save it in IE though, so guessing that that site hasn't disabled it. Any ideas?
