Pop ups and little ads keep appearing on the screen even though I have pop-upblocker on. How do I stop it?
Randomly when I turn on firefox, go to a new page or open a new tab I will either get a full blown pop up (Almost all of them are awful but one was actually a full TV episode which threw me for a loop. And it was to a show I actually like) or I will get a little tiny add or video in the bottom right hand corner. Most of the time, though HIGHLY annoying, I can just close it down. But when it pops up when I'm trying to watch something on Netflix I have to refresh the page in order for it to go away. I have popup-blocker on but I'm still getting popup and little ads like crazy. I've run virus and malware scans. But it doesn't find anything. I don't want to reinstall firefox if possible because I don't want to have to copy my 50 bookmarks....anything else I can do? Help?

ArcadeCandy Games is a known purveyor of advertisements - you should get rid of that extension. Also, the popup blocker doesn't block advertisements, an extension like Adblock Plus is used for that type of blocking.

So far it's working! Thank you so much! I've been dealing with it for months now!
Bull-oney!!! When using Internet Explorer and Chrome I don' have this issue. I have decided not to use Firefox because it is ridiculous that a pop up blocker setting can't block an invasive pop up!!!
what if you use chrome? What then? It happens when I watch a show. This ad comes up that i've won this apple package and when I click the cross I still follow the link. It happens over and over again until I give up on watching the show and find something else to do. So... what program is best for chrome?
Doesn't Chrome have a support forum?
