How can I stop the feature: "Choosing a Tab opens a new window"?

Not all the time but quit often when I am switching from tab to tab, the one I am selecting will open in a new window. I HATE THAT! I want my tab's to STAY in the window I select. If I want them in a new window I will purposefully open a new window for them. But to have it just randomly open a tab in a new window just because I selected that tab is irritating as hell!!!!!!!!

Therefore, how do I set it so it will not do that anymore?

Make sure that you do not drag a tab slightly down in the browser window while clicking.
Current Firefox versions have a feature called tear-off tabs.
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.
