I was installing Avast antivirus and was doing a browser checkup and it said the configuration of your mozilla firebox browser is damage

You should ask Avast what it means. I can turn up no references to a damaged configuration error. It's possible that the message doesn't refer to Firefox itself, but Avast's integration with it (e.g. the Avast Online Security extension).
