I don't know what is the place i want to put this issue. I think firefox 29 inspect element not good for Developers. I'm not using chrome for my development. mostly i used firefox because of firefox inspect element and firebug help me a lot. Right now firefox inspect element tool looks like chrome's one. Old one was good than this. I feel like that/

Hi Eranga, could you be more specific about what changed in the Inspector that you don't like? Also, was this just a change from version 28, or are you comparing with an earlier version of Firefox?

For me its like this; I right click on something, and select Inspect Element. Under prior FF, the work window pops up and what you clicked now has a box around it that lets you work on that element. BUT, under v29, the work window opens, but no box on the element to work from.

Hi FredMcD, do you mean that previously, the dotted outline stayed on the selected element until you clicked something else? Currently, it seems to fly around the page as you mouse over the HTML pane. You can still see what you clicked on is selected in the HTML pane, but the outline moves.

Hi jscher2000, FredMcD explain it. that is the problem I met too.

So, is that one of the improvements that they made? Bummer. Its one thing for me to move the box around, the old way was fine, but now? Bad Mojo. Bad Mojo. Now the box could end up someplace I don't want just because the mouse was moved by a millimeter.

Thanks Guys

cor-el; I'll take a look at those links

jscher2000; Glad someone knows whats going on
