I see more than a few questions about TB not responding. I've posted one myself. I've read several replies. The replies seem to blame outside causes like anti-virus or mail server not responding. I don't care what those causes are. I want TB to do what I am trying to do and have TB deal with that other stuff in the background. This is I should be able to open a mail message that is already here while TB is stuck with a slow response from the mail server, the anti-virus, or whatever. I have a huge fast computer with tons of memory, so TB should be able to do local tasks for me the user while dealing TB deals with whatever out there is slow and not prevent me from working in TB. That is it appears to me the issue is TB just stops dead on the user side, when something outside is slow. Can we fix that?

Installed newest version of Windows 11 and now no tabs will load on browser and all show as crashed. Have uninstalled, reinstalled, refreshed and tried all I could and no changes. Would love any help.

Hi..On my email page inbox I have "Open in Conversation" Works fine for me when I use it.. Problem is that although the Reply in Conversation is high-lighted with a yellow star on the Inward Mail Icon when an Email arrives I can't tell which email the Reply is for..

I get Lots of Email Replies so which Email line is it?..

There is a Small icon in the left margin for a Reply or two but no more that that.. Some of my Emails have up to half a dozen Replies in Conversation..very frustrating.. Which means I have to hunt thru my Emails to find what Reply Received is for which Email.. I would like Mozilla Thunderbird to add (somehow) a high-light for the Reply in Conversation & which Email it belongs to... That would save me a lot of searching... Any idea's.. Thank-You ..

I write stuff on Microsoft Word Online and lately, I get pop-ups from my browser that tell me to close the site, as it's slowing down my browser. I don't want to close my tabs, because I switch between them fairly frequently (I'm writing a story, and I need to keep track of other parts so you can see why that's a no-go). Is there a way to turn this specific pop-up off? I get annoyed always closing out of it whenever it shows up. I use FireFox on a Windows OS system and currently have version 133.0.3 (64-bit). I've had this show up in older versions as well, so it's not just limited to this version. Any help fixing this would be appreciated. -Mars

Three days ago, my AOL mail account began working very slowly and repeatedly claims to have no internet connection when accessed on Firefox which has been my default browser for years. When I open my AOL on Microsoft Edge it works fine, but I prefer not to switch browsers if not necessary. I am using Windows 10 and have Norton Safe Search on both Firefox and Microsoft Edge. I did erase history and cookies for the past 12 hrs but don't want to loose all passwords and connections by erasing all history if that would happen. Please help me! In Salesforce, I need to be able to display the preview of template. The page give the error of:

I can't open it in a new tab, or copy the URL because the preview is in a frame inside the Salesforce interface. Whenever I need to use templates I end up opening another browser, which I would rather not do.

When I open Firefox I've lost my bookmarks (toolbar & others). When I try to refresh/troubleshoot Firefox I can't because the menu icon isn't responding .....

How often does Thunderbird check for emails? I have several email accounts and just wondering how frequently Thunderbird searches for new emails. I realize you can manually check for emails.

I recently purchased a new computer and had computer experts install the thunderbird email system when they were setting up my computer. The system on the old computer was easy to set up and name a new folder. I cannot figure out how to do it on the new Thunderbird version

Hi, I hope you can help me with a problem I’m having. When I click on a hyperlink in a message, the link is hi-lighted but the browser does not load. If I right click on the hyperlink, a window pops up and I can choose among options to open link in browser or copy link and a couple of others. Open link in browser gives the same results as clicking on the hyperlink. If I click on copy link, I can then bring the browser up myself and paste and go and everything works as it should. I should note that I can click on links to other programs and they open as expected. I copied a hyperlink to a browser to a word document and when I clicked on it, the browser did open. I have changed default browsers and restarted the computer and Thunderbird to no effect. I looked at your general trouble-shooting guide and went through the first three steps and everything seems to be ok. I had this problem a year or so ago and it just went away after some time had passed. This time it’s been a couple of weeks. Any ideas? Stephen Niver
