In the top right corner where I type for items, the word search is there instead of the G symbol for google. It used to have a blue G for google. Why is this and how do I change it?

Izabrano rješenje

Firefox 34 got a new Search Bar scheme. The search engine icon doesn't show.

You can revert to the old Search Bar scheme quite easily, if that is what you prefer.

Open up about:config (typed in the Location Bar) Right-click and toggle this preference to false

browser.search.showOneOffButtons

Then restart Firefox.
