I have an automate system that runs jobs using firefox. These jobs run in the background of a Windows 2008 R2 server. It is having problems. How can I bring that background firefox process to the foreground so I can see the problem?

They would be listed in the task manager. "Firefox.exe" or "plugin-container.exe"

Yes I know that. But that process is running in the background with an error. How do I force it to the foreground so I can see the error?

A plugin container crash will show up in a notification at the top of the webpage that it crashes in. Windows 7 might have an option for this since it recognizes the plugin container as a separate process. (In task manager(Process Explorer actually), Right Click on the process > Window > Bring to Front) You might need a macro to run this check.

I did not see anything documented that is built into Firefox that creates an alert http://kb.mozillazine.org/Plugin-container_and_out-of-process_... I am sorry I could not be more helpful.
