i can't sync. so, i set up a sync account with my gmail address. i tried to delete my old yahoo sync account but firefox says the account doesn't exist. when i look in the "three bars" area, It shows an old yahoo sync account.

Izabrano rješenje

Try to delete the signedInUser.json file in the Firefox profile folder and delete the Weave folder (Sync was formerly named Weave). If that isn't enough then delete the prefs.js files to reset all prefs and maybe also delete the compatibility.ini file to reinitialize the profile.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Hi jgudites, This is strange, was the older account created on the old Firefox Sync? If not remove the account from the settings and restart Firefox, I saw this before in the three bar menu, it just needs a restart.
