Were are the bookmark files in Firefox 41

In our environment we are using Firefox portable. Up until version 41 we would backup the profile of the current user then copy a pre configured copy of the new Firefox portable over top. Once we did this we would then copy places.sqlite and places.sqlite-wal over top of the files in the profile folder to return the users bookmarks. This is no longer working.

What ever process we come up with to accomplish this needs to be automated as we cannot ask 4000 users to back up there book marks.
