Why is the Yahoo home menu showing "partially encrypted some of the time, and many e-mails as well?

more options

Yahoo has advertised that all of its e-mails are "encrypted" for protection. Their "Home Menu" itself shows the "partially encrypted" icon (the grey with yellow triangle), even before you try to sign in some of the time. I have NEVER seen all of my e-mails" Protected" as advertised with the green padlock. Most of them show the grey padlock & yellow triangle). Is there a method to obtain fully protected e-mails in Yahoo, or not? I've never seen it yet, and I've had Yahoo for an estimated 10 years. I don't forward any e-mails that are not shown as secure. It's the only way I know to protect those to whom I send e-mails. Where can a user locate information to ensure that all e-mails (incoming and outgoing) in Yahoo are protected??

HTTPS pages that pull images on an HTTP connection generate that icon. Such "mixed content" is a common issue with Yahoo mail. Messages may contain images embedded using an HTTP address, and even the Inbox may show ads displayed using HTTP addresses.

Firefox doesn't block the images from loading (unless you change a hidden setting) because the threat from "display" content is lower than the threat from "active" content (like scripts).
