Before today, everything worked fine. Now, however, whenever I try to watch a YouTube video, Firefox crashes. The window comes up that says Firefox crashed, but clicking "Close the program" does nothing and I have to manually close Firefox from the Task Manager. What's even weirder is that YouTube keeps loading after the dialogue box comes up, and on one occasion a video even started playing while the "Firefox has encountered an error and needs to close" dialogue box was open. Strangely, I can watch videos just fine in Private mode. However, if I'm in private mode I don't get access to my recommended videos and the like, so I'd like to keep watching videos in normal mode. Please help!

Those sound like system error messages.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
