So I'm using firefox (developer edition to be exact but I don't think it matters). And on G Chrome I would often have three tabs open and then just exit the browser. And if I re-open the browser I can use CTRL + SHIFT + T. And it would re-open all the three tabs. But on Firefox in order to do this I have to go to history and click open restore previous session (CTRL + SHIFT + T doesn't do anything).

Is there any way I can the behaviour that I have in Chrome, to also happen in Firefox. (This behaviour in chrome is default btw).

I don't want all tabs to be restored every time. But only when I do CTRL + SHIFT + T.

So just to confirm you had one or more tabs open and then you closed the browser. You then opened Firefox again, did CTRL + SHIFT + T and it restored the tabs that you had in the previous session?

Because I just tried on two separate computers and it's not working (Firefox 66.0.2 (64-bit)). The other computer I tried on has Firefox developer edition.

You mentioning closing and then reopening Firefox, made me think you did want to restore the previous session all the time ....

I don't think that what you want is possible, but hopefully somebody will prove me wrong (fingers crossed .... )
