Hi there,

I've been trying to login to Sync on both my laptop and my phone. Initially I tried resetting my password because identical passwords weren't allowing me to log in on both devices. At first, this happened on the laptop. Now it's happening on my phone. I cannot log in to both machines using the same password. Very odd.

So I've reinstalled the Android app, cleared all data and cookies and still no joy. I'm logged in on my MBP but my Huawei phone won't let me in. Any idea how I can get around this?

You need to use the same email address and password to log into your Firefox Account, regardless of the device - the login is for the account, not the device itself.

Have you received the verification email? Is it in a "spam" or "junk mail" folder?

Thanks for the reply. I have used the correct email address and password. It's very strange. I've also reinstalled Firefox on both my laptop and my phone. I tried resetting my password to no avail.

Having reset the password, are you using the same new password on both devices?
