Why is the ip address and location in the email I got from Firefox to verify it is me signing in not match my windows 10 computer ip address and location?

Are you behind a router or connected directly to your modem? The outside world is seeing the ip from your provider.
See my screenshot of the ip in my router from my ISP to my machine ip from my router. The same would be seen in Windows. I often clone the mac address of a device on my network to force the ISP to give me a new IP.

This can also happen if you use a VPN or proxy.
You can use websites like these to see how your location is reported via a reverse DNS lookup of your IP:

Next on my list of to dos is to find out why my straightalk phone with me in louisiana, shows up as a verizon phone in texas. This is nothing new. Whoever is doing this managed to uninstall my antivirus software on my phone and my p.c. I have figured out I believe they are accessing me through FB on my phone so I'm no longer using it.
