Onec I opened an attached ".pdf" file & asked to save it, but by mistake I checked the box "To be done automatically from now on for files of that kind", & since then I cannot just open a ".pdf" file. How can I cancell the previous command?

By doing the above command, now I do not have the possibility to pick either to open a ".pdf" file, either to save it, but the program saves it automatically. I would like to cancel the "by mistake" command, so after that to have the opportunity of choosing to open or save a ".pdf" file. The program that I asked to open that file, is Adobe Reader. Is there a possibility to reset to the default settings?
