this website has always worked. all of a sudden images have stopped loading on Firefox. the site loads fine on Google chrome, MSN premium and IE 8, but stopped working on  Firefox. the load images automatically is enabled.  running windows 7 . I upgraded firefox to see if my version was broken but same results? any ideas how to fix it?

See:

  • You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
  • You can see all exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
  • You can check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

the exceptions worked,=. for some reason , the site ended up blocked. how does that happen? thanks. this is probably the first time in years an online support forum has solved something so quickly, thanks

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.

somehow must have. i am the only one on this computer. don't recall ever right clicking and saving an image but it did not get there by itself I guess! at least it is working now. i can wwatch for it in the future.
