firefox 4 will not work with norton tried all fixes no toolbar nothing works

I installed firefox 4 and found norton tool bar didnt work and various other tasks where more complex and the new setup was much less user friendly, I have now reverted back to firefox 3.6. If you are trying to emulate IE9 please dont that is rubbish also and you cant go back on that.! None of your fixes has worked so far any suggestions?
