My problem is this. I have already opened a web page e.g. yahoo.com. I want to open the same web page (yahoo.com) in a new window. When I click File - New Window in Firefox browser, it opens a new window with my default home page which is google.com. How do I open the same web page i.e. yahoo.com which is already open in firefox in a new window?

I don't think there's a method of doing it directly. What you can do is to press CTRL+L to highlight the URL, then right click it, choose "Copy", open a new tab and then paste it into the location bar.

It might be worth experimenting with this add-on though: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/newtaburl/

A possible workaround is to make a copy of the tab either by dragging the tab with the Ctrl key pressed or by middle clicking the Reload button on the location bar. Then you can right click the tab and choose Move to New Window.
