Trying to sync an upgraded version on my desktop. Have gone to options > sync tab > set up Firefox sync > connect and nothing happens so its obvious that I am not connecting to anything. I have a sync account and key but never get far enough to use it.

They are 2 questions here.

Areheart: In your case, you miss clicking on the "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom of the Add Device window.

Javier: If you have no Sync Key, that means that either you have lost it or you haven't set up an account. For the former, visit: I've lost my Firefox Sync account information - What to do

For the later: How do I set up Sync on my computer?

Sorry, there is no "Add Device window that I can find under the Sync tab, therefore I cannot click on the "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom. Any other thoughts?
