I want to use the old download manager by setting browser.download.useToolkitUI to true. When I do that, and then do Tools Downloads it doesn't show all the files, and there is no vertical scrollbar. There are many files that should show, and they did show when using older versions of FF, and they show when using the current dowload manager that I don't like.

Is there any way to make the old download work properly, showing all files and having a vertical scrollbar?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
