Quicktime videos shifted down, bottom of video covered by controls.

Only in Firefox on a Mac, the Quicktime videos on my website are shifted down within the control area and the bottom of the video is covered by the Quicktime controls. You can see the outline of the control area is higher than where the video sits vertically. And the bottom of the video appears to be cut-off or sitting behind the video controls.

I know that I need to add 16 pixels to the height of a video when including the video controls. I am doing that and it looks fine in IE, Chrome, and Safari (Mac & Windows), and in Firefox on Windows. The problem is only in Firefox on a Mac.

If you have a Retina display, could you check whether this is affected by whether Firefox is using hardware acceleration for graphics? You can toggle that setting in the Preferences dialog, but you need to Quit/Restart Firefox to see the effect.

Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

(The reason I mention this is some recent bugs related to plugin rendering on Retina displays when hardware acceleration was disabled.)

Jscher2000, I appreciate the response. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem. I do have a Retina display and I did make the change, but the video is still pushed down behind the controls.
