Hey guys,My hostel's wifi has youtube banned.I used to cheat and write "s" after http and after a minute youtube started to work just fine.That only worked in firefoz.Recently I downloaded and aurora and now youtube doesn't work with this method.I've firefox 27 now and even that doesn't work with https youtube. Should I uninstall and opt for previous version of mozilla.Then my youtube will work?There any method to get youtube with updated firefox or aurora?

To see whether this is due to a change in Firefox or a change in the hostel's filter, try using a Portable version of Firefox 26. You can download that from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla Firefox%2C Portable Ed./Mozilla Firefox%2C Portable Edition 26.0/

The Portable edition runs from a separate folder without displacing your main installation of Firefox. However, you might not be able to run them simultaneously.
