I have done the about:config / javascript.enabled trick and it was set to true and not bolded. However the sites I am using complain that javascript is not enabled. I need javascript to work the baskets in several Computer parts sites and my bank page.

I entered the ESR program to avoid having to update my configuration. Please replace the javascript controls in tools/content!

I am using NoScript 2.6.8.19 to control script usage but am unable to enable javascripts even when the site under usage is whitelisted.

Please help!!!

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once in order to rule out the interference of noscript...
