i have 2 pinned tabs and firefox is set up to 'Show my windows and tabs from last time'.

for some reason, every time i start firefox it starts with my two pinned tabs in the background plus the 'mozilla firefox start page' up front.

zer0nix, Please update to the most recent version of Firefox:

In order to start Firefox with just the two pinned tabs, it is possible to change from "Show tabs from last time" to "homepage" and to list the two pinned tabs from the home page.

You can't have only pinned tabs opened when you start Firefox. Firefox will always open one normal tab when started, but should select a pinned tab if you close Firefox with a pinned tab selected.
