I am using Windows 8.1, and updated to the latest version of Firefox. After update, and multiple restarts, Firefox wouldn't connect, just a blank screen with constant connecting symbol. I then uninstalled Firefox, and cannot re-install it. I am using Internet Explorer 11, and it gets to the start download box, and the download progress bar has a blue or green section that continually sweeps across the bar, it will stay that way for as long as I leave it on.

Hi, make sure Firefox is completely uninstalled (you can leave your 'user data and settings') - Uninstall Firefox from your computer.

Then reinstall from mozilla.org
