In some apps (e.g. Huffington Post, Yahoo) I'm unable to select and launch stories from headlines. The selected item flickers but no go. Not a prob in Chrome.

When I launch various apps from Firefox (such as Huffington Post, Yahoo etc.) I select a headline or summary which is designed to launch the underlying story or other such item, it flickers the highlighting on and off, but nothing happens. I have adblock plus and pop-up controller installed, but disabling them just results in all kinds of unwanted malware. Any help appreciated...
