Hi there,

I've had a number of Firefox issues this week and here's the bottom line. The issue I had the other day with it not launching got fixed by a system restore.

Now the issue is that after heavy use (or interactions with other things as I'm doing work like Microsoft Word), it's becoming painfully slow and I'm having to kill the process. Not a high CPU, not a high memory #, but just brutally slow. And looking at my laptop, that secondary light that shows it's working is almost always on. Now granted, I wasn't really watching it before so I don't know how often it was in that state (I know it was during high CPU events), but this is just flat out weird.

Are there known issues with 44.0.2? Any known interaction issues with Flash for example or any other plug-ins or Word or anything?

Should I do a Refresh of Firefox?

Does this sound like malware? The problem occurred while doing a heavy day of job applications, back and forth between Firefox and Word, on Facebook a bunch, etc?

Something else?

Thanks, Jeremy
