Can't update Adobe Flash. Get "Application Initialization Error". Tried the Mozilla post recommendation to download "full" version - takes me to the same location have been using. Have been trying for ~ 2 months. Have removed old version Flash - same problem. Restarted numerous times - same problem.

File from Adobe: flashplayer25_xa_install.exe

Running:

  Win7 Pro 64bit
  Started with Firefox 32bit
  Updated to Firefox 64bit (v53.0.2 64bit) - same problem
  Administrator privileges
  No problem downloading other files

Please advise how an individual user can get Adobe to install with Firefox 64. (Don't want to have to use another browser - but this is a big issue.)

Thanks

Correct. I uninstalled the old Flash and tried a fresh download - WITH THE SAME RESULTS: "Application Initialization Error".

Now I have NO Flash, and still cannot download it.
