Add Roboform
I updated to new version 8.3 with the email received 11/14/17 only to find out I could not run Roboform on this new version. So I reinstalled version 54 which automatically updated to version 56 and then version 57. (I assume that was the version I was running before i upgraded to version 8.3.)
But now Roboform will not work there. Even though there is a Roboform icon in the upper left. it only asks me to open a new Roboform account.
I have hundreds and hundreds of log on data in Roboform. I have no desire to have any upgraded version of Firefox. The very old ones were just fine. I just want to reinstall a version that will allow me to use Roboform.
Suggestions?

I think the best solution for you for now is to download Firefox ESR (52) and turn off automatic updates: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/
Turning off automatic updates can be done in Tools->Options->Advanced->Update Or go to about:config and search for app.update.auto and turn it off.

Latest version of Roboform is 8.4.3.4 not 8.3 as you mentioned. Update the extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/roboform/?src=search
Thanks for the rapid response Moses. Let me start afresh. I just downloaded, and confirmed, that I have the latest verson of Firefox - 57.0 (32 bit). Help -About says that "I have the latest version of Firefox". When I go to the link you provided to add Roboform, the 'add Roboform' link does not work. It says I have to download Firefox which I have already done. If I cannot use Roboform with my hundreds of login on this new version, then Firefox is useless to me. And trying to install any earlier version so the Roboform can be used does not work as Firefox automatically updates to the newer version. Help?
ps. aside from this issue, I find the terrific speed of the new version offset by the lack of menu bars, tool bars, bookmark bars, etc. What previously took one click now takes 2 or 3 IF you can find it.

WOW !! Well done Moses. Very well done. I was really upset and you solved the problem.
This version is just fine. I am thrilled.
