Why I cannot see pinned tabs after closing firefox?
Hi All,
Hope this finds you well.
I would like my pinned tabs to stay "pinned" when I open/close my Firefox browser.
Unfortunately, when I close Firefox, my pinned tabs disapper. Is there a way to make them stay pinned when Firefox closes?
Thanks!

Hello, you could possibly add them to bookmarks as a work-around.

Hi Mkll,
Thanks for your reply.
The pinned tabs in question are already bookmarked, but I just want them to be always pinned when I open/close firefox, e.g. The Guardian, Facebook, etc
Sadly, when I close Firefox they disappear and I have to manually reopen them and pin them again.
Thanks!
Hi, click on the 3 line menu, and then click on Restore Previous Session (the 4th menu item). This will restore everything you had in just two clicks.

Hi there,
I have tried but that button is disabled.
Any ideas? Why does Firefox not let me keep my pinned tabs and close all the other ones?
Thanks!
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes".
- do not clear the Browsing History
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-browsing-search-download-history-firefox
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data
- clearing "Cookies" will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an "Allow" exception you may want to keep
Also make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.
