default printer duplex grayed out
I have two issues that are both related I believe. They have to do with printing. See attached screenshot
1. The option for duplex printing "Print On Both Sides" is grayed out.
2. Only Manual Duplexing is allowed - I want automatic.
I have checked the printer settings and I have enabled Automatic Duplex - this works correctly in all my other applications but not in Firefox. My printer is an HP LaserJet 1606dn and I have the latest drivers installed for Windows 10 64 bit which is my OS.

That would be from the printer driver side software that controls what options the Browser uses to print.
Where do I look that up? Here is the Settings page of my printer and as you can see Automatic Duplex is turned on.
Contrast that from my Firefox screenshot in my original post: where Duplexing is grayed out.
So to reiterate in my Printer's actual settings the duplex is enabled and ON.
How are you connected to your printer?
I have tried it two way: either directly via USB cable, or over WiFi.
How was your firefox installed?
I downloaded the newest version directly from www.mozilla.org and ran the installer as usual with no modifications or customization.
