I am trying to create a new user on my Mac computer to correct some other problems and want to import my bookmarks from Firefox from my original user. I have exported them to a .html but when I try to import them, I get nothing!!! I am using OS 10.11.16 and Firefox 65.0

Did you try to open the HTML file in a Firefox tab to see if that file is working?

There should be links showing that you can click.


Note that you need to use "Import bookmarks from HTML" and not Restore to import an HTML file.

At your suggestion I went to the back up copy and clicked on it to open it and it shows all the bookmarks in that document. I do not understand about "open the HTML file in a Firefox tab."
