I can't get Facebook to load. Works in other browsers on same computer. Advice?
Running Mac OS10 and Firefox 68.0.1 on an iMac. I am able to log into Facebook but only get a blank, gray screen with the Facebook search bar at the top. Facebook loads and operates fine using other browsers on the same computer. Strong Internet connection. Other sites load just fine using Firefox. Here is what I have tried: disabling all Firefox add-ons and extensions, restarting in safe mode, clearing cache and cookies, clearing recent history, doing virus and malware scans (McAfee Total Protection 4.5.9), and even signing into Facebook as a guest. No luck. Any additional advice?

It sounds like this could be an issue with your browser. I would suggest trying these troubleshooting steps for your browser:
https://www.facebook.com/help/1416643995215690/?ref=u2u
Be sure you don't have any third party add-ons installed on your browser that may be preventing the ads to show up.
If you're seeing a problem with how Facebook appears in your web browser, you could have a cache or temporary data issue.
1- You can try clearing your cache and temporary data. You can do this from your web browser's settings or preferences. You'll need to use instructions specific to your browser version and your operating system (ex: Mac, PC). 2- If this doesn't solve your issue, it may be because you're using third-party browser extensions. We recommend disabling these add-ons before accessing the site again. 3- You can also try using a different web browser.
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

I can't get Facebook to load
How is it not loading? Nothing at all? Part of the page? Something missing?
Thanks for the advice but if you read my initial post, I have tried all of the things that have been recommended. I do not have any hardware acceleration. As I said, "I am able to log into Facebook but only get a blank, gray screen with the Facebook search bar at the top." Any other ideas?
Here is a screenshot.
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Started computer in safe mode. No change. Also tried Firefox in safe mode. Other secure websites are loading fine. Facebook is still loading OK when using other browsers.
Hello Scott Y,
Would you please check your settings here :
Preferences => Privacy & Security => Content Blocking
See :
Content Blocking is set at Standard.
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
I did try "Forget About This Site" and there was no change. I am not a code reader or debugger so please help. Here is what I get when at Facebook:
Console ErrorUtils caught an error: "[Exception... "File error: Corrupted" nsresult: "0x8052000b (NS_ERROR_FILE_C...". Subsequent errors won't be logged; see https://fburl.com/debugjs. 94Cgmloyu59.js:52:234

Any further advice?
Anyone else out there that can help? Anyone that can interpret the error message for me or the network information? Looking for what to do next.

That was very good work. Well done.
I got this symptom on macOS after a full restore to a new system from a Time Machine backup which included my Firefox profile - backup probably made while Firefox was open.
I think in my case the `webappsstore.sqlite` file was saved or restored in an inconsistent state and so was corrupt, and getting rid of it fixed Facebook.
To check if you might have the same issue and be able to work around it without doing a clean install, use developer tools and see if the page has an NS_ERROR_FILE_CORRUPTED console error.
If so, try the solution detailed on https://stackoverflow.com/a/26371494/2803757 by "Volker E.", moving out the HTML5 data from your profile. Be aware that you may lose saved information on any site if that file was not already corrupt – I would move it somewhere safe instead of deleting until you're sure every site you care about works.
