How to get Thunderbird to print emails with embedded images?
In preparation for a lawsuit, I need to print several hundred emails. Many have embedded images. How do I get Thunderbird to print the emails, em mass, with the embedded images included?

Do you need to have printed hard copies? Otherwise, you can save a set of selected messages as separate pdf files with ImportExportTools NG. You can of course use the built-in W10 Print to PDF, which is not as convenient for hundreds of messages.
@sfhowes When I export a single email as a PDF, the resulting PDF also only has boxes where the embedded images should be. So this is not a solution.
When you print one message do the images appear in the print?

Exporting to pdf preserves embedded images on my setup, but not attached images. Do you see the embedded images before exporting? If not, it suggests an issue with remote content, i.e. embedded images linked to remote servers.
