Unable to log in using gmail/gsuite account
Good morning,
I'm having an issue regarding Thunderbird, that I couldn't find solution to anywhere. I'm using Thunderbird in notebook connected to a domain. It work flawless, i can add my gmail/gsuite account, there is a popup that lets me log in and everything works. However i tried to do the exact same thing on VM PC connected to same domain, and i get "Unable to log in at server. Propably wrong configuration, username or password." Error. Using the same version of the software, in the same domain, same antivirus settings and so on. This is a fresh installation there, so i cannot remove existing password as suggested in diffrent posts, and all the solutions/workarounds found elsewhere doesn't work for me. I even checked if the popups in browser are "enabled".
Please help!

I'm attaching the popup that doesn't show up on VM
Try to set allow cookies (Options-Privacy) and even add gmail dot com as a specific exception with "allow"
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunaly this doesn't solve the issue.
OK, but are you sure on VM you have OAuth2 set (for both incoming and outgoing server) then?

Maybe you have a block on what connections can use the VM? Can you check with anti-virus/firewall off? I'm asking you this because I also use virtual machine for some tests and when I've set first time an account on TB in the VM my anti-virus software (from real machine) has asked me if I allow a connection to that server...
Its the same setup, and i have already tried disabling antivirus/firewall/ adding TB to exceptions in both inbound/outbound rules of Firewall.
If you do on VM (not real machine) a telnet to gmail (pop and smtp) on ports 465 or 993 will you get a "Press any key to continue..." or a "Could not open connection to the host, on port abc: Connect failed"
I've just checked, can't telnet smtp.gmail.com or imap.gmail.com from the VM, can't even ping the adresses. On local PC i can do both of these things without issues.
