Can i use the same Firefox UI on a Chromebook like on my Desktop?
On my chromebook the only reasonable way of installing Firefox is through the Play Store. The Version there is the default android version which i enjoy using on my phone. But on my Chromebook the UI is only really efficent when i am in tablet mode. I already installed the arm/desktop version via a linux box, but thats no real solution because its awfully slow. Is there any way how i can configure the android version of firefox to look and feel like the desktop version, or has anyone another solution to this problem? Thanks in advance Detzi

Hi
Firefox for Android is primarily designed for touchscreen devices and has a different user interface than Firefox. It is currently not possible to make one look like the other.
Thank you for your quick answer. So i suppose checking out the git repo for android and modifying some compile option wont work either? Can someone tell if Mozilla is aware of this or should i post a feature request? Since google is pushing their chromebooks hard especially to young people and students to me it feels like it will be a huge missed potential if Firefox is not really usefull on these devices.
Hi,
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
