what happens if you uncheck remember for n days? or set to 0? => forever or not remember?

the option 'remember history for n days' in 'custom settings for history' does not mention what happens if you uncheck it.

does that mean it will NOT erase the history after n days, or does it mean it will not remember the history AT ALL?

also unclear what happens if you set it to 0 days.

I'm afraed erasing my history (i like having history) so have now set it to 1000000 days to remember....

There is an overriding setting for storing the history in places.sqlite on disk in the profile folder.
