when i go to save prefrence settings in goole it only saves until i close the page . what iam trying to do is Do not provide query predictions in the search box. ihave tried inabling cookies in option but still wont work can you please help as i want io reinstall firefox 3.6 or latest.

Try to clear the Google cookies: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
